You'll love Chief Kim!
Now THAT’S what I’m talking about! I had seen scenes of this show and I’ve read a few of the reviews. I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to like this show because 1) it’s not a romance; 2) I don’t care for over-the-top or slapstick comedy; 3) I don’t like when shows have a ton of villains. Since I’ve not recently had terrific luck with finding a fabulous romance, I thought I’d give it a try. This show was a pure joy from beginning to end. It had me laughing out loud one moment and in tears the next.WRITING/STORY: Extremely well-written. For me, there were no draggy parts (hard to find in K-dramas, unfortunately) and there was no “throw away” dialogue. Every word spoken had a purpose, which might be confusing at the moment, but it would be explained in later scenes. I loved how they used flashbacks – something would happen that didn’t make sense, and they would go back and show what had happened behind the scenes to lead up to that point. It’s hard to find a show, especially one with a cast this large, that has fully fleshed out characters, from the main leads, all the way through the supporting characters. I have to like the characters to really be invested in them and I was worried about the character of Chief Kim, because he was a con man and his facial expressions often seemed cartoon-ish. His character development was fun to watch. Watching him grow as a person, but also seeing how much he helped everyone that he worked with, how his co-workers gained strength from what they learned from him…it was so special. The writers did a great job of letting us delve deeply into each character, get to know them better, and then you can’t help but root for them. They were very three dimensional and completely developed. The humor was often very exaggerated, but it fit in very well with the story. There was A LOT going on in this show – multiple villains, and lots of accounting stuff – I have arithmophobia so that was kind of painful, but the journey was just so much fun.
ACTING: Everyone in this show was absolutely amazing, but I have to call out a few that were complete stand-outs for me. Most of the other actors I’ve seen in other shows, and they were so good in this. It was fun to see Kim Seon Ho and his dimples, as a bespectacled nerd, which was a change!
Namkoong Min as Chief Kim – I was so impressed with him. He completely owned the part of Chief Kim. He was funny, playful, eccentric, and yes, a little bit crazy. He would pull these faces that would have me laughing out loud. He had to display such a wide array of emotions, and when he wasn’t being goofy, his intenseness was spot-on. You could feel his confusion as he started to leave his old life behind and actually let others into his life. There’s a line early in the show about him “fake crying” because what he feels isn’t real. Later on, when he cried, it just about broke my heart.
Lee Jun Ho as Yool – now, here is a villain you love to hate! I’ll start by saying that he’s just so beautiful, I got a little lost in him every time he was on screen. I was hoping that he would redeem himself, and the way the writers handled his storyline was excellent. I loved watching how he reacted to the female lead – a hint of a romance that is never actually addressed. (If you haven’t seen him in Just Between Lovers, he’s excellent in that as well!)
Kim Won Hae as General Manager Choo. This is an actor that is normally used for comic relief. He was extremely funny in this, but we got to see so much vulnerability and caring from his character. I especially loved his scenes with Chief Kim.
MUSIC: At the beginning, the romantic songs just didn’t fit with what was going on, but later on they made more sense. I absolutely LOVED hearing the Descendants of the Sun music when one couple met for the first time, so funny!
REWATCH VALUE: There aren’t a lot of shows that I would re-watch, but I think I’ll watch this again in a couple of weeks. It might be fun to watch it, already knowing the end.
So, I can wholeheartedly recommend this show. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll love the characters, and you’ll be glad you watched.

I started watching it and then in two days i already finished it, i rarely watch a non-romance kdrama but this is absolutely worth it.
I loved everything about this drama! the cast, the music, the story, and the art at the end of the episode. don't forget the bromance, it's so good in here!
Just watch it, you will never regret it! i never found myself bored watching it, when i was close to the final episode i was so sad, even now i'm sad because i wanted to watch it forever,

Story: I personally found the story very interesting, I was never really bored and each plot twist seemed believable and new.
Cast: The casting here was absolutely phenomenal. I had seen a video on youtube where the main leads had been practicing their personas for a very long time in order to perfect it and show it naturally. This really paid off as all the characters were believable and real through the acting.
Music: I still have the ending ost stuck in my head, it's so catchy and fun addition to the show.
Rewatch: Chief Kim is always ready to bring you laughs and its always fun to rewatch.
Overall: I think this is one of the best kdramas out there. Its story is amazing, the casting is amazing and you can guarantee that you can always laugh, get immersed in the story and have a good time.

Give it a try
If you're hesitant to watch it, give it a try of 5 episodes then decide, because it's an amazing Drama and you'll regret not watching it before. If you feel the craziness of the characters well you'll laugh your heart out. I feel so satisfied after watching this for an unknown reason. The bromance, romance, comedy, tactics all are pretty good. It's worth your time with many morals in a simple method. Namgoong min is such a talented and versatile actor. My first intro to him was Doctor prisoner in a sophisticated role and after it Villian role in Remember & in this one being Crazy TQ Chief just blew my mind away. Junho did a great job of being a cute villian with screaming wherever and whenever, I've seen him many times but I've come to to acknowledge that his acting in this role is my favorite one out of all.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?

I have watched this drama already in 2018 but yet, here I am re-watching it again now. I find that it is even better and funnier than before the 2nd time round, and I have to say the story and acting are all fantastic. Chief Kim (Nam Goong Min) is totally hilarious and Director Seo (Lee Jun Ho) is great at being the frustrated director trying to topple him. The rest of the casts are also good in doing their roles. The drama highlights the terrible conditions the workers have to put up with when the company's upper management is corrupt and heartless. Also the bullying of weaker staffs by people in power is hard to watch. But Chief Kim gallantly managed to put these bullies in place every time. It is a great K-drama to watch, if you don't watch mushy romances. Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
I had commented on the Korean's version of 'Leverage Funny Moments' and saw on the side recommendations top ten dramas that had great bromance and Chief Kim was one of the recommendations.
I remembered watching some Korean drama funny moments where there was a excerpt from Chief Kim involving him running into a broom stick male part first and I laughed hard but sadly there wasn't a title for that so I forgot about it and saw that part again in the bromance drama recommendation and decided to give it a try.
I've never been good with names so I'm just going to say I absolutely loved the first five main characters in this series. I'm starting to get use to seeing some of my new favorite Korean actors and since I know they're in it then I know I picked a good drama.
The story line strayed a bit as Korean dramas usually do but I eagerly hit the next button because I enjoyed each episode. I also loved the chemistry everybody had.
I did, however, cringe with one of the characters. If you haven't guessed it, yes it was about a female. Even though her role (Im Hwa Young) was awesome, her high pitched voice was annoying. I couldn't accurately describe it but in one episode Dong Ha's character asked her what's wrong with her voice and if it was broke. The annoyed reaction he gave didn't seem like it was scripted. It seemed like he actually hated her high pitched voice and so did I.
The last episode was one of the best last episodes I've seen from Korean dramas. The writer actually knew how to end it!!
I felt the good byes were very genuine because the cast knew this was the last time they will be shooting a scene together and it was time to move on to another cast family.
I did want to point out though that even though I've already seen 3 dramas with Namgoong Min in it, I felt there were some of the times when his humor was just over the top. I loved the serious moments more than I did his comedic moments.
I'm glad I found this series. Now that I'm done, I hope I can find more that's up to this caliber.

Best Drama of the history
This is the best kdrama I’ve ever watched. At the beginning (after watching episode 1), I was feeling that it’s not that much good so I was going to drop it from watching but then I decide to watch it for other episodes too. I’m glad and really happy that I watched it and didn’t drop it. Chief Kim (Nam Goong Min) is the best in this drama because he made me laugh too much, and also made me cry (I’m not a person who cry easily or often) but he was able to made me with his superb and best acting. I could also ship anyone who I want with Chief Kim that’s what I also like. Talking about his expressions, OMG!! I can’t believe even at the serious moment, his funny expression made me laugh badly that I couldn’t even hold myself. I binged over this drama for two days and finally completed it and I’m feeling really happy (a little bit of sadness) even though it’s finished, I want to watch more. I wish that they would release new season for this drama. Other characters were also really good or I should say excellent like Yoon ha Kyung, Prosecutor Seo Yool, Hong Ga Eun, Choo Nam Ho, Park Myung Seok, Oh Gwang Sook (especially her voice), Sun Sang Tae and many more. The ost is also the best ost (the one always goes with funny scenes of Chief Kim)Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
Okay. No lie. This is the funniest shit i've seen in a long while :p
This show. This show was a journey. A delightful, funny, sometimes sad, awesome journey from beginning to end. They made it so fun, and there wasn't a boring episode from 1 to 20. This is one of those shows that i will rewatch again and again, just for the characters and dynamics between them. The show made me laugh so hard i slammed my hand on my desk, and the next moment i was crying from the sadness of the serious cases, to giggling furiously at our lovely bromances, and yes, there are plural.I honestly struggled deciding on my fave bromance. Between "filled with sexual tension" Chief Kim & Director Seo, the beautiful cuddle relationship between Chief Kim and Director Choo, and the dynamic between Chief Kim and our corporate prince Myung Seok, there was so much fun involved that i completely forgot about it not having any real romantic scenes.
Of course, our main couple Chief Kim & Director Seo wins the best bromance award. Chief Kim is the perfect blend. He is stupid, smart, cool, awkward and extremely eccentric, but in the best manner possible. Also, his fashion sense won my heart. Nice coats, cool hipster suits and the mobster from the 90's look, all in one. He was perfect.
The same can be said for our precious Director Seo, with the stomach of a blue whale. He's the perfect clumsy jerk we love.
Law Firm Go & Koo Attorney squad won my heart the moment they powerwalked onto the scene. They just ooze of style. I fell for them completely, and had to pause everytime they arrived just to giggle some more. The awesome squad who poses in every scene, and is always accompanied by the best music, i can't help but fall for them.
Morpheus and Neo are a close second, but honestly the whole cast of side characters are amazing and just a delight. From the cleaning ladies in Team 1, to the mobsters, this show is just ripe with the funniest, most charming cast of characters i've ever seen.
There are also some ships i really really shipped thoughout the whole show, and am still thinking about even after the last episode. Especially one Romeo & Juliet ship, that i really want to believe got married and had many kids after the show ended.
All in all, this is a must-watch for anyone who likes bromances, quirky characters and/or hillarious humour with a perfect blend of ethics in private companies. Don't let the corporate politics theme draw you away from this gem <3

It's so good!
A wonderful comedy that is elevated by its cast in every way. It was such a fun experience. So glad I had the time to rewatch it.The only thing holding it back was that some of the villians are so dumb. No one dies in the show despite the fact that there are multiple assassination attempts, yeah they're that stupid.
Honestly that just adds to the humor!
The music, cast, and plot are all perfectly balanced. It's nearly perfect. I wish a little more attention was paid to the romance, but I'm glad I didn't have to sit through another love triangle.

The drama is about the country's leading company. The best thing is many characters had different sights in the acting part and dialogues, the emotions, the hard work, and what the actual corporate sector is, it's all about this. If you carefully observe and watch it there are many psychological and deep down the labor exploitation lessons and how to manage the office environment and how to deal with the problems this drama depicts the all. The strange thing is it does not have the relationship thing between the main leads because the office management drama is not all about that kind of relationship yet the supporting character had that relationship, after all, they want to add some slice of relationship. You will not regret it watching this piece if you admire the office management kind of drama and know about business accounts. Corruption is the biggest cause of trouble in every country which is affiliated with politics sadly. The idol Lee Jun-Ho is the second powerful lead in this drama. I admire his acting. Male actors are more dominant and they had done an excellent job. Music is ok some rapping things on various scenes is good. But yeah it can be watch again anytime. In the end, the drama is also about short Mind games, office environment, and business operations Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
You may have already heard of the famous bromance, and it is as great as you'd imagine and more. What I found most admirable about the show, though, is how it's actually a redemption story not just for the main lead, but even for other characters. The message seems to be that it's never too late to walk the right path, and it's never a bad idea to.
That said, except for one moment of true sincerity from the main character, the message is very well-masked underneath the hilarious plot and characters. I don't think I've laughed aloud so much watching any other drama. The level of inanity Chief Kim could get up to can only be seen to be believed, but no one could ever say he was stupid. When they coined the term 'crazy like a fox,' they must have had him in mind.
Putting it in D&D terms: Watching Chief Kim transform from a Neutral Evil to a Chaotic Good and dragging along his Neutral Good officemates to become Lawful and even Chaotic Good like him was such an enjoyable ride.
