Senior Secret Love: Puppy Honey (2016)

It's not the best but still quite fun

The main highlight of this show was the friendship between Emma and Rome.The pIot was relatively simple since there were only six episodes.

The directing and the production were lacking quite a bit and the script was not their strongest suit since some of the sequence of events did not really make sense but the actors and their characters made up for it. Emma and Rome definitely have one of the best male-female friendship that ive seen in a thai drama. Their dynamic is just so fun to watch that id rewatch this show just for them.

P'Porsche and P'Pick were honestly kinda creepy in the beginning but you slowly came to love them by the end especially P'Porsche. I just love how happy and bubbly he is. Overall it's fine to watch when you're in the mood for 2016 nostalgia but otherwise the tropes are quite dated.

This series was adorable. Porsche is just sweet as heck and his attempts to woo Emma are super cute. I think the premise of Emma being afraid of dogs seems kinda silly at first, until we learn why and then it's like, yeah. Poor AnAn!

The attempts Porsche made to get them to join the club were kinda icky, and I didn't like how far he was willing to go to make that happen. It was a serious flaw to his character that was brushed over when it came out because he was charming and persistent, which is kinda icky in my opinion. I wish he had been held more accountable for that.

The real reasons we are here, though, is Pik and Rome, so I'll get to that.

Pik doesn't deserve Rome, as so many of these storylines go, and they don't confirm their feelings in this season at all. They were still cute, and their storyline developed well. That candle-lit evening, I love how genuinely confused Pik ended up being. They end up spending all of their time together, and grow super close, to the point where they are almost, technically dating, and it's enough to keep me clicking to the next episode to see where they end up. Their story makes up for every flaw the series has.

Season 2 is worse for Porsche and Emma but worth the watch because of Rome and Pik!!

Awesome drama

This drama I'm watching for 4th time bze of off gun this series never make me bore and so glad that they gave equal timings to each couple and in season 2 we had more scenes of offgun , I'm dropping many bl series in middle bze we are not getting same vibe as previous years series now not sure why thai drama diverting their theme to somewhere i know they are trying to enhance stories but please thai has its own unique aura don't ruin it by trying to copy kdrama,chinese drama series every drama has it own kind i really love thai drama its so natural and realistic also with great acting of actors please please please make more series like this i hope in 2023 i get series like this and this series author and director request you to do more series with good scriptplay and no boring scenes like this seriss in future too....and comig to actors no need to say anything obviously they are best and offgun couple is really interesting and their chemistry and cuteness overloaded just imagine one masculine guy and cute and thin guy with huge height difference makes me fall into their story anyway guys i do recommend a lot this series Trust me u can watch any series reviews in the page my name will be their , i always give true reviews so u never gonna regret it.....

Makes fun of phobias & trauma

I watched that bc of OffGun, ngl.
Though I also found the puppies & cats very cute, but considering the show is about these two animals, I found that there weren’t many there on-screen.

While OffGun weren’t that close in 2016, I find they had pretty strong chemistry already. I don’t know much about their friendship and how long they are friends already, but I would honestly believe they were close friends during the series already. Even just in 6 episodes, their eyes were longing for each other.

Tho I hate again how Pick’s & Rome’s relationship started off with bullying.
Generally the way Pick and Porsche approached Emma and Rome were so wrong.

I especially hated how Porsche made fun of Emma’s phobia. Being afraid of dogs may not be the same as being afraid of scorpions, but there are still people who are and it’s really not funny. Also considering that a dog killed her cat when she was little – that’s some serious trauma.
Which made shipping them quite hard. The actors of the hetero couple had some chemistry and I really liked Emma, I just couldn’t ship them cause it felt wrong. Porsche got better in the end and if he hadn’t treated her like that at first, i could perhaps ship it, but I can’t.
