Introdução ridícula

Não me encantei por nada nesse episódio. Achei pouco curioso. Poderiam ter dado um ar de mistério quanto à relação dela com a mãe, fora que tudo que ela faz a madrasta já fala merda e, uma personagem com "personalidade forte" deveria pelo menos retrucar uma vez na vida.

Talk about taking a crap on Cinderella!

They literally dumped crap on the Cinderella story. Though I don't blame them since Cinderella's message is to endure, but a good worker, and you'll eventually be rewarded. So points there!

Holy drama boys. When they were all jamming out in their expensive cars. No. Just no. (Well I guess it did provide a bountiful amount of laughs.

Ah, so basically they're all kind of jerks. Even the nice guy Ji Woon. (Don't care what anyone says.) Overall they're the stereotypes I expected.

I know Ahn Jae Hyeon--my beloved--is really good at playing this jerk @$$ roles, but this feels way over the top. At least he's rocking that lip gloss to all kinds of stunning camera shots.

Cinderella and the Four Knights is the predictable drama comfort food I expected. I do like Ha Won so far. I like that she knows when to stand up for herself or do the right thing, and when to be humble. I already feel for her, so that's a plus. Especially since there's already an over whelming abundance of jerky male leads and rudeness, an evil step mom plot (multiple levels), heir issues, corporate take over issues, product placement, and so on.

NOT AN OBJECTIVE CRITIC OF THE EPISODE JUST MY RAMBLINGS

The first episode and I already find Ji Woon so annoying?? and it frustrates me cause I'm pretty sure they're gonna have him be the male lead and end up with the girl and I find that so unappealing?? And I don't know why I keep using question marks??

I'm assuming that his character is supposed to be the poor kid that suddenly went rich and therefore isn't as materialistic or whatever yet he still acts like a spoiled brat that throws around money and looks down upon others. Make up your mind are you 'bout that rich heir life or nah? Stop shimmying halfway. (REALLY HATED HOW HE HUMILIATED HA WON AT THE WEDDING WHAT A DICK MOVE) Also, that brooding/suffered thing he got going on, although there's technically nothing wrong with it, I'm so turned off by it?? This was basically me bashing Ji Woon and it was all clearly very biased, sorry not sorry. I don't know why but I was just so unimpressed by his character.

On the other hand, even though they're clearly making him the asshole rich guy, I like Hyun Min so far. Very straightforward as a character, personality/intention wise. I like his charisma too. Just like with disliking Ji Woon, I don't have a lot of reasons for liking Hyun Min, I just do.

Finally, I like the third cousin whose name I forgot because he was barely featured in the episode so basically I like him because he didn't give me reasons not to. He looks looks like he's going to be the drama/tension/comic/etc relief. Very chill and into music. Enjoys watching the drama without being a part of it. My kinda guy lol

Even though the premise is pretty cliche I'm still looking forward to it and I hope Ha Won ends up with anyone but Ji Woon.

Hello, Cinderella!

Although, I'm not quite fond of the original fairy tale, I have a soft spot for Cinderella remakes.

For this one, I expected some old-school romantic comedy shenanigans with a nice dash of flower boys foursomes falling for the same girl and the usual poor girl/ rich snots palooza: basically, a cliches- ridden story as deep as a pancake!

As expected, Cinderella and the Four Knights did deliver the fluff, the nostalgic flower boys charm with their never-ending chaebol problems and their their strive to camouflage their golden hearts under their cold demeanor! But enough of the boys, what made the cut for me was none other than Cinderella. When a little girl whose plight you've heard so many times in different styles and cultures manages to win your attention again, you know you're in for a winner. Park So Dam's Cinderella is not ground-breaking, but she's very easily loved. I definitely want to watch her save the FOUR, not one, Knights from themselves.

Let's not forget the direction that keeps things zippy and cute without stooping into zany and manga-like. Pancakes might not be the fanciest food out there, but when they're good, it never hurts to try!

Some potive feedback :)

Finally a decent OST. Something that clearly stands out and not fades boringly into the background. The best OST of the summer season for me so far.
And despite the cliche plot I really enjoyed everything in this episode (ok besides the second female lead, as always). Park So Dam's acting and character are pleasant too.
And btw....is the fourth knight this bodyguard, secretera, manager, babysitter or whatever he is? :D
