She Was Pretty (2015)

Unattractive & ugly FL a high school girl transform into a charming & pretty girl when she met ML a popular & handsome boy in her school. She ask him for a help to make her pretty but in one condition she can't fall in love with him. Based on a manga/comic book.

While the plots of She Was Pretty and Marriage, Not Dating are totally different, both shows give off a similar vibe. They're both rom-coms where the male lead is adamant about not falling for the female lead but slowly ends up doing so. The female leads in both shows are lower in status (than the male lead), and a little eccentric and over the top at times but, without meaning to, end up capturing the attention of the male leads. The chemistry between all of the characters in both shows is good as well.

The story is about a girl who think herself is not attractive when she's a child & growing up & she's struggling to become pretty. She was trying to her best to reach the heart of the guy she like. The story of a low self esteem girl until she become self confident.

Both have female leads who have huge lies that started out of insecurity and miscommunication. They both have you urging to find out the end of the story.

ML is an actor but not too popular anymore & broke so he rent a room in FL house.
FL is a nerdy geeky/otaku girl who like to imagine & day dreaming about romance with her favorite manga/comic book character. Remind me of Rainie Yang & Jiro Wang drama....& still 1 of my favorite drama....If you like this genre this is a must watch romance comedy drama....

Similar story plot. The FL try to help him to build self confindent for the ML until he was success. It is a cute & light love story.

1) Pak Seo Joon is in both.
2) Pak Seo Joon's character's personality is a bit like Siwon's personality in She Was Pretty (hilarious and a childish..in a good way!)
3) In both of the stories, the main characters are working in a office for a magazine & there is a boss/employee romantic relationship going on.
4) Both are fast-paced and make you laugh a lot!

In short, if you like SWP, I think you'd like WR :)!

A guy who was a jerk turns into a loveable guy! ^_^
Fluffy Romance (Kinda)

*both main male character is the female character's boss

*both have a complicated love triangle

*The two drama gave out similiar atmosphere

The female lead is similar just that for this she wasn't that pretty from the start..both female leads were really nice to the male lead which was also fat when young but turned super handsome and model like later...the guy then finds the girl and you know what happens...the girl had a makeover too...but then there is a slight twist in the end

- both are romantic comedy genre
- leads in both drama has that cold attitude vibe
- in both dramas, the male lead are not fond of the female lead because of their indifference
- male lead learns the true definition of love; not based on looks or indifference between one another
- gives that comfort feeling

In both the dramas, the female lead changes from an ugly duckling to a beautiful swan. The women are strong willed and confident which also contributes to attract the male lead.

-Both Male Lead used to be overweight as a child but grew up to be really hot.
-Both Male lead likes Female lead since childhood, though in she was pretty the female lead liked him since childhood too
-In She Was Pretty, Male lead does not recognize female lead, in My Little Happiness It is the female lead

-In My Little Happiness, Male lead chases after Female lead and potentially falls for her first ( Since its unknown if she liked him since Childhood too)

Watch My Little Happiness if you don't want to cry your heart out for Choi Siwon and also don't want to slap Female lead lmao, with cute couple and also watch My Little Happiness for the Second Couple (Who are the best part of My Little Happiness imo )
Watch She Was Pretty, For a great Second Male Lead, A pitiful and nice Second Female Lead, cute chemistry with both Second Male lead and Male lead, a Jerk male lead, and Oblivious Female Lead
-She Was Pretty also has a better moral message in My Little Happiness uptil now all I see is foreshadow hot kisses but no true moral and is a steamy romance
-She was pretty has more of learning moral to it again : )
-Both are good, I prefer My Little Happiness because of Second Couple Syndrome and the reason because She was pretty made me avoid dramas with love triangles lmao.
