Like Love

Sometimes I like fancy made-from-scratch Italian in the north, and sometimes I like 67 cent red hot burritos from Walmart.

This show was my red hot burrito. ???
They were so ridiculous and funny the whole time. The music was a little funky and I think the editing was too.

That's my only real complaint. So much happened without and explanation and the plot jumps ALL over the place. For example: How do all these people randomly show up in each others bedrooms??

But, overall, in the end, that red hot burrito still slaps and I know I'll be back for more! It took me a hot minute to track this down and I'm so glad I did!

a serie with good moments , drama moments and funny moments

The plot is well described above.
It's about how one guy manages to sneak into the other man's soul so deep and beautiful.

ACTING/CAST: At first I didn't like Maiding very much. It was very pushy and annoying, but somehow in a sweet, innocent, hilarious way. He managed to break the An Zi Yan's walls and he went deep into his heart. I think that was the only way to touch An Zi Yan's heart, the seemingly cold, distant and bad guy.
From this point of view I consider him an excelent actor. He manage to annoy me so much so he really did a great job!
Both main actors are beautiful, different but beautiful in their own way and being different makes them perfect as a couple.
The dynamic between them is as it should be: a cold, dominant character and another one - warm, chaotic and insecure.
I liked the intimate scenes between them, so natural, sweet and soft. The chemistry was there and An Zi Yan's smile add a plus of warmth.
Both actors did a great job and I like them very much!!
As alway there are people against this kind of love. And, as in every BL movie I know, they are, for me, ugly and desperate type of humans.
Overall, the cast is the right one and the support actors did a good job too. I liked Maiding's roommate too and his part in this romance is important by supporting and helping Maiding a lot. Great job too!

MUSIC: The music impressed me very much. I don't remember watching a BL movie and be impressed by the soundtrack. This one is memorable! In some moments I thought I didn't hear it properly. It took me by suprise! I love it!

I saved this serie in my list and I will rewatch it for sure!

I'm not so happy with this one. First, the two boys lack chemistry, but they behave very natural and seem at ease when they are together. That's a plus. No awkward gazes in each others eyes for hours. No awkward touches which seem to mean the world to them. Both characters have distinctive personalities especially Mai Ding who is an adorable dork. I loved the scene in the cinema. He was so annoying I wanted to punch him myself. The humor is sometimes very good. Another plus.

What I really didn't like was the lack of intimate scenes (kisses, touches). I don't know if it had to do with the censorship, but there is really not much going on. And then there is the uncut version where we have sex scenes that makes you speechless. Watching the censored version your impression of this love will be completely different.

Overall it was a nice watch, the acting was okay, the music annoyed me several times. The filming was very amateurisch, but it gave the whole series a more realistic touch.

I can recommend "Like Love" if someone likes to see characters who are funny and behave (in a relationship) very differently. It's not the type of cute love with lots of shyness and insecurity you see in many boys love series. It's more a funny and straight forward approach with two strong minded characters.

Plot storywise is awesome

This is my honest review (Notes that I have watched movie uncut version ) :-

Plot :-Quite interesting. Story quite realistic. This story depicts an uke and seme (both are manly) with different personalities that falls to each other. Seme is hot crazy one that can made all girls and a boy will fall to him ( I also :3 ).Who doesn't fall in love with a guy like that? Hot,tall,rich and bad attitude. That is why our Uke fall in love with him also. The story potrayed the beginning of their story life's and struggle to withstand their love.

Music- Quite good. There are some good songs inserted during a sad scene.

Acting :- Oh boy. Acting for the main characters is good but acting on for the side characters can be bad. But I can insure you that the plot storyline can beat that acting. Just hold on watch to the end.

Adult scene (18x) :- Yeah so steamy. But don't worry they don't show their genitals but it still fucking hot.

Rewatch value: I will rewatch this movie later! Oh man, the romantic scene (kissing) and seme is all the reason to fall in love with this movies/series.

Don't make the acting turn you off. The chemistry between main leads is much more important and to stay knowing about this beautiful story potrayed gay/ bl's love drama is worth it.
