I watched this mainly for Yaya because she really impressed me in Kleun Cheewit with her acting. Although I did not see the original of this remake, I must say Yaya did a good job working with the role she was given - being a victim of endless bullying, prejudice and envy. Her character was very frustrating at times to the point where you just want to slap some sense into her. The side characters were meh. Except for the antagonists: Song, her Mom and Panee and Thit's Mom. They were very effective in being so slap-worthy!
Main Lead actor was just eye-candy and that's it. I find his acting so bland, childish and most of the time he only acted cutesy or annoyed.
I loved the dresses and the period costumes and being acquainted with Thai customs. And those vintage cars!
I agree with most of the reviews and comments posted regarding this show. At first the bickering and push-and-pull were entertaining, the jealousy and misunderstanding started off amusing but got too old after a while. Until the very end, it was so frustrating that I just wanted it to get done and over with.
Overall, still pretty entertaining. Just don't expect too much.

The ML in this drama is acting like a child and that is the reason why his relationship with the FL can't progress. He's like the little boy in school who is mean and pulls the braids of the girl he likes. He fell in love with the FL at 1st sight but as soon as he found out who she was, his petty behaviour starts. He's constantly mean to her and always says that he doesn't like her but when she turns to someone else who is kind and treats her with respect, he goes into a fit and starts acting all possessive.This lakhorn had the opportunity to be a great drama. The leads were good and the side couples didn't really take away from the main plot. What really ticked me off was the constant misunderstandings between the leads. They refused to be honest with their feelings and they would not talk with each other. Their prides kept getting in the way of everything. For more than half the show, it's just the same thing being repeated over and over again and honestly I skipped through the last three or four episodes to see how it will play out because I don't see any reason why I should spend one and half hours watching the same thing that I watched in a previous episode.

Bored characters
I think James Ji acting is below par and couldn't pull off any better as compared to the earlier 2005 series acted by Ken Theeradeth. He may have to charm and looks but his acting skills need improvement. I don't understand why would the FL got attracted by the ML who is self centered and doesn't show his gentlemen attitude deserves liking. Although Yaya's acting is way better than mediocre, however James Ji bland acting skills can't make up a good show. The bickering was too long I couldn't find there's any chemistry between the two, so I dropped at episode 5.Questa recensione ti è stata utile?
